Here, it is physicalized into an A4-sized picture book and a flexi disc. The stories, which Kudo found and converted into text from improvised drawings, are read aloud by eight narrators with a wide variety, Haruka Komori ( film maker ), Tori Kudo ( ceramic artist / Maher Shalal Hash Baz ), Tomomi Abe ( Gallery Turnaround ), Masumi Hara ( painter/musician ), Yoshiko Iguchi ( Makomerology / Sekifu / Hoshigata no Niwa ), Hiromichi Hosoma ( behavioral scientist / Kaerumoku ), Saya ( Tenniscoats ), Sansuke Yamada ( manga artist/Tomari ). This is a spontaneous and dreamy media mix, where you can listen to recitations on the flexi disc while looking at the pictures. After seven years and numerous member changes, sekifu has finally completed its first substantial album. Although it always presented a large number of new songs on the occasion of its infrequent live performances, instantly captivating the audience present and continuing to make an impact that is not easily forgotten, sekifu has only been talked about among a few music lovers who understand. Led by Masaharu Seki, known for his work as a euphonium player and composer for the brass band group Zayaendo, sekifu is a performance group that brings Seki's songwriting to life. As you immerse yourself in the linguistic sense of the lyrics, in which Seki's personal inner world and living environment are exquisitely blended over a long period of time, and in the sonority that permeates the ear with an intensity that is playful and sweet, a special world that can only be named "sekifu" will unfold before your eyes.
